Passionate fans of the pop star are calling for that a man who breached a fence and seized the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the Australian man pushing past media personnel and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile contains clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user remarked.

Followers Voice Worry Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Numerous followers blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while some demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore fans had waited to meet the actors of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore mall, including a number who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The motion picture, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-part version of the acclaimed stage show Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected relationship between two very different witches.

The show itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and scored a dozen Oscar nominations, winning two for outstanding attire and production design.
