Two dozen Nigerian Young Scholars Released More Than Seven Days Post Capture

A total of 24 Nigerian-born female students taken hostage from the learning facility more than seven days back were liberated, national leadership stated.

Exceeding fifteen hundred students were taken hostage from educational institutions over the past decade, when multiple young women were abducted during the notorious major capture incident.

On Friday, at least numerous pupils and workers were abducted from an educational institution, faith-based academy, located within Niger state.

Half a hundred individuals captured at educational facility have since escaped based on information from the Christian Association - but at least 250 remain unaccounted for.

The primary Catholic cleric across the territory has mentioned that the administration is making "insufficient measures" to recover the unaccounted individuals.

The capture incident within educational premises was the third impacting the country over recent days, pressuring national leadership to postpone journey global meeting organized within South Africa recently to address the emergency.

International education official the diplomat called on global organizations to make maximum effort" to assist initiatives to return the abducted children.
